Say What?!

Hello, I know you missed me!

School has been so HECTIC, midterms are finally over yay! Once christmas break comes I cant wait to finish reading Robinson Crusoe, its such an interesting novel and I just cant get enough of the protagonist! Here’s an excerpt:

“I have since often observed, how incongruous and irrational the common temper of mankind is, especially of youth, to that reason which ought to guide them in such cases that they are not ashamed to sin, and yet are ashamed to repent; not ashamed of the action for which they ought justly be esteemed fools, but are ashamed of the returning, which can only make them be esteemed wise men.”

so i got my puppy and named her allie! shes such an adorable handful, i mean she tries to put everything in her mouth and its so exhausting tryin to make sure she doesnt! but around other dogs shes just PERFECT, she doesnt bark when she sees them or try to run over to them, she just sits quietly and stares, and so far shes been great with the kids on the block, i hope her temperament doesnt change! today was such nice weather we were outside for 4 hours, which i know was stupid but she wanted to explore and now my legs are KILLING me! i can only go down the stairs one step and a time, i hope im not so sore tomorrow ive got a lot of walkin to do!

puppy!!!

We got our puppy today! she’s so adorable and so FULL of energy, hopefully she gets housetrained realll soon! My brother went to the breeder and picked her up @ 8am this morning, i worked from 6am-3pm and the entire day i was just dying to get home and see her because i had only ever seen pictures of her before! and shes just as cute as in the photos, yay! =)

My bday is tomorrow, and my cousin called me from her cellphone and when I picked up, she and her younger sister were singing that happy birthday song to me over the phone. I kept trying to tell them to stop singing because it wasnt my birthday but they wouldnt listen. Then i started getting confused and thought maybe it WAS my bday, until I looked on the calendar. When i finally got them to quiet down i said ” my bdays TOMORROW you idiots, its july 31!” turns out the calendar on her cellphone was messed up, it showed july as having only 30 days, and today was saturday august 1st! They felt embarasseddd! =)
